Best: Morning best for west-facing climbing trains; afternoon for eastbound descending. The curve faces multiple directions so light is workable any time.

Best: Morning best for northbound trains climbing toward Pueblo; afternoon for southbound descending. The line runs N-S so cross-light works either time.

Best: Mid-morning to early afternoon — the train typically reaches Cumbres summit around 11:30am-1pm depending on direction and season. Schedule varies by month; check the C&TS website.

Best: Amtrak Zephyr arrivals/departures are scheduled twice daily (EB #6 mid-morning, WB #5 mid-evening) — both work for platform photography. RTD trains run frequent daytime service. Evening blue hour with the Great Hall lit is a classic Denver shot.
